SAMAC Type 2 General Purpose Cavity Wall Ties are designed to provide a secure structural connection between the inner and outer leaves of masonry cavity walls. Suitable for domestic housing and low-rise commercial buildings (typically up to 15 metres), these ties are widely used across standard UK construction for reliable load distribution and wall stability.

Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, SAMAC Type 2 ties offer excellent corrosion resistance within cavity environments, ensuring long-term durability. Installed within horizontal mortar joints as brickwork progresses, they create a strong mechanical bond while incorporating a drip feature to prevent moisture crossing the cavity. Available in a range of lengths (commonly 200–300mm), they accommodate typical cavity widths such as 76–100mm.
