SAMAC Type 2 General Purpose Cavity Wall Ties are designed to provide a secure and reliable connection between the inner and outer leaves of masonry cavity walls. Widely used across UK housing and low-rise commercial construction, these ties ensure effective load distribution and structural stability in standard cavity wall applications up to 15 metres in height.

Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, SAMAC Type 2 wall ties offer excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability within cavity environments. Installed into horizontal mortar joints as brickwork progresses, they form a strong mechanical bond while incorporating a central drip feature to prevent moisture transfer across the cavity. Available in a range of lengths (typically 200mm–300mm+), they are suitable for common cavity widths and are compliant with BS EN 845-1 standards.
